13 subs in one month with 4 guys, and one of them never set foot on site
I run a small concrete outfit in Boise and we picked up 13 jobs in April. That is double our normal pace and it almost broke us. The thing that saved it was a simple scheduling tool where the crew logs their hours and I can see who is where without calling anyone. Our estimator now works from home two days a week because he can pull the job files and photos without driving to the office. What surprised me was the number 13, since I only counted 9 jobs until I looked at the calendar. How do the rest of you handle it when the work comes in faster than you can keep it straight?
