Watched a guy finish a whole driveway in flip flops and now I get why the edges looked rough
Saw a crew pouring a 40 foot driveway on my route in Phoenix a couple weeks back. The finisher was wearing flip flops and shuffling around the wet crete. His edging was all over the place because he couldn't get his weight set right near the forms. I know boots get hot but you can't float a slab when your feet are sliding out from under you. Anybody else notice the guys who skip real footwear always seem to fight the same spots?
