Tried finishing a driveway in 95 degree heat with a slower mix and it set up like peanut butter
Added 30 minutes of working time with retarder on a 400 sq ft pour in Phoenix last Tuesday and the cream floated so bad I chased it for two hours with a magnesium float, which taught me that slapping extra set time on a hot slab just gives the bleed water more room to wreck your finish, so has anyone found a retarder dose that actually holds the surface without turning the whole thing into soup?
Phoenix in June and you're out there chasing cream with a mag float like it's a hobby. 400 sq ft of soup, sounds like you paid good money to learn that retarder and 95 degrees don't mix.
