Tried a power trowel on a small slab last week and it was a disaster
Figured I'd save time on a 4x6 patio in Austin but ended up spending 3 hours fixing the gouges it left behind - has anyone else had better luck with those electric edgers for tight spots?

It almost Edger'd my foot off" lmao I can picture it. I read this thing online about how electric edgers have that torque that just yanks the blade forward if you hit a rock or thick root. My buddy Henry said his neighbor lost a toenail that way, said it was like a horror movie in his driveway. I stick to my old manual edger with the serrated wheel, takes longer but I'm keeping all ten toes lol.
