Tried a new concrete sealer on my driveway last month and it turned into a mess
I picked up a bottle of that acrylic sealer from Home Depot for about $40, figured it was the same as what I used back in the 90s. Put it on a 400 square foot driveway in Cincinnati, and the stuff turned cloudy after one rain. Turns out they changed the formula and now you have to apply it in perfect weather or it traps moisture. Anyone else had trouble with the newer sealers?

The old stuff was probably fine, maybe it was just bad luck with the weather.

Was the driveway brand new or had it been sealed before? Maybe it's just me but I wonder if the old stuff underneath reacted with the new formula.
