That 90-degree day we poured a 40-yard driveway in Phoenix
The concrete truck was an hour late and the mix started setting up way too fast in the heat. We ended up having to spray it with water and work it with magnesium floats just to get it closed, which was a total race against the clock. What's the hottest day you've ever had to finish on?

You ever think the concrete was just trying to escape back into the truck? That's a special kind of hot when your pour turns into a hostage negotiation with a slab. Bet the finishers looked like they were trying to ice a birthday cake in a sauna. Sounds less like a construction job and more like an extreme sport.

Come on, @thomasmitchell, humidity is the real killer. Dry Phoenix heat lets that water evaporate and actually helps the cure.

Honestly, I used to think a 95-degree day in Alabama was bad. That Phoenix story with the truck being late would have changed my mind real quick.
