Hit 5,000 square feet finished by myself last week, and I think the old guys are wrong about working solo

Everyone at the shop in Tulsa says you need a 3 man crew to pour anything over 1,000 square feet, but I did 5,000 over 4 days on a shop slab with just my brother running the chute and nobody's finish cracked. Am I nuts for thinking crews are overrated, or did I just get lucky with the weather?
