Dropped $1,800 on a ride-on power trowel for small pours and I think I got sold a bill of goods
Bought a used walk-behind trowel last spring for $1,800 thinking it would save my back on garage slabs, but for anything under 400 square feet I'm spending more time hauling it off the trailer than actually finishing. Half the guys I know swear by hand trowels for small work, the other half say I just need more seat time on the machine, so which is it?
