Why does nobody talk about canned air freezing on fresh thermal paste

I watched a guy ruin his build last week because he blasted canned air upside down near the CPU socket and it left frost all over the paste. How do you even clean that up without smearing contamination everywhere?

Oh man, that's rough but honestly (and I might be wrong here) isn't the bigger issue that canned air gets freezing cold because of the propellant, not just from being upside down? Either way, yeah that paste is probably contaminated now - better to just scrape it off carefully and reapply fresh stuff.

Have you ever tried using a heat gun or hairdryer on low to warm the edges before scraping? That's what I do when I accidentally freeze some paste solid, makes it way easier to peel off without gouging the chip.
