That network printer issue that ate up my entire Saturday
I spent about 7 hours this past weekend trying to get an old HP LaserJet to work on a Windows 11 machine. Turned out the driver from their website was the wrong version, and the printer itself had a corrupt firmware that wouldn't update. After the 5th reinstall I finally found a forum post from 2021 that pointed me to a specific legacy driver buried in a separate download folder. Has anyone else had a simple job turn into a full day project like this?

Dude it's a printer, not brain surgery.

My 85 year old dad once tried to fix a paper jam by pouring water into the tray (I'm not kidding, he thought it was a steam problem). So compared to that kind of logic, setting up a printer actually does feel like brain surgery. I spent three hours last week just trying to get the wireless connection to work, and I still ended up using a USB cable like a caveman. Honestly, if brain surgery is this frustrating then I'd rather just keep my headache.
