Heard a client say 'it's just a monitor' and it stuck with me
I was swapping out a dead LCD at a dental office in Boise and the office manager said that. She meant it as in it's not a big deal, but that monitor was running their whole patient scheduling system for 9 years. Made me realize how many folks see the screen and not the machine behind it. Do you ever explain the difference between display and processing to non-tech clients, or do you just nod and hand them the invoice?
