When I bought my first house back in 2016 the notary showed up 45 minutes late with coffee stains all over the paperwork and I'm pretty sure she signed one spot where I was supposed to sign. My realtor just kinda shrugged and said it happens more than people think. That loan somehow went through anyway and nobody ever said a word about it. So honestly 20 minutes upside down at a bank in Boise sounds almost professional by comparison. Idk maybe the bar is just really low for notaries.
