That's a scary find with serious risks. Did you catch it during the normal pre-dive check? What's your plan for getting it fixed properly?

Yeah, the pre-dive check is a lifesaver, and that's how I spotted it. It was a small crack near the valve, easy to miss if you're rushing. A leak there could lead to a real bad day underwater, so it's not something to ignore. My plan is to take it to a certified shop, not try any DIY fixes. Gear failures are no joke, so getting it done right is worth the cost and wait, and I'm glad I caught it before hitting the water.
