The difference in our hull cleaning gear after switching from a 3-blade to a 5-blade prop
We ran the same 6-inch K brush on a 3-blade prop for years on the Seattle harbor jobs. Last month, the shop swapped it for a 5-blade model from the same maker. The vibration dropped by like 70% right away, and I can hold the tool steady against current for way longer. It feels like the extra blades just grab more water and smooth everything out. Anyone else tried this swap and noticed a big change in tool control?

Seriously? That big of a difference?

Yeah, it's a huge gap once you see the numbers. @troy832, have you actually compared the specs side by side? The cheaper one cuts corners in ways most people don't notice at first.

And yeah @nancy475 is right, I thought the same thing but seeing the real difference changed my mind completely.
