Rant: Spent $400 on a 'drysuit repair' kit that ruined my suit

Bought this fancy repair kit online last year. Said it was for neoprene and latex. Slapped a patch on a small wrist seal tear. Next dive, water flooded right in. Whole seal came off. Had to pay another $350 to get it professionally re-sleeved at a shop in Norfolk. Total waste of cash and ruined two weeks of work. Anyone else had bad luck with DIY repair kits?

Spent $50 on a "waterproof" patch kit that peeled off in 10 minutes.
