My comms cable snapped mid-decompression at 30 feet
Last week on a job off Port Everglades, my hardwire comms cable gave out about 10 minutes into a 35-minute deco stop. I had to rely on my backup slate and hand signals to my tender, which worked but felt way too close for comfort. Anyone else had comms fail on them and switched to a different brand or setup since?
