Can we talk about those cheap dive knives from the online marketplaces?

Bought a $40 'tactical' knife for a simple harbor job in Tampa. The blade snapped clean off trying to cut a piece of old rope, and I had to surface early. What do you guys actually trust for a work knife?

Yeah, those things are basically just sharpened pot metal.

Honestly those things are a total joke. Had a cheap one basically fold in half on some kelp, it was embarrassing. Just not worth the risk at all.
