Update: My meme page comments split between love and pure chaos
I run a small page where I post silly comics I draw, and the comment sections are a rollercoaster. Some people leave really funny, supportive jokes that make my day. But others post shocking takes, like arguing my characters should have wild backstories or calling the art 'so bad it's good.' I see two sides: one group says this chaos is what makes social media fun and engaging. Another thinks too much negativity, even as jokes, can kill the vibe for creators. I had a comment last week saying my comic plot was 'a fever dream,' which got tons of laughs but also some pushback. What's your view on where funny comments cross the line into being too much?

Totally, laurap71 is right that chaos can be the best part. If every comment was just "nice art" it would get boring fast. The weird jokes and wild takes keep people coming back because they never know what they'll see. But the line gets crossed when comments stop being funny to you and start feeling mean, even if others are laughing. It's your page, so the vibe should be something you can laugh at too, not just stress over.
