The review bomb that flipped my opinion on a 3 month old post
A local bakery got slammed with 40 one star reviews overnight last Tuesday over a weird political comment from the owner. I almost skipped it, but my buddy dragged me there Saturday and the croissants were unreal. Has anyone else found that review bombs actually made them try something they'd have ignored?

Saw a piece on this exact thing, how review bombs usually backfire because people get curious about the drama. The bakery in that article got a spike in foot traffic after the media picked up the story. Sometimes a pile-on just puts a place on the map, even if the owner is a bit of a knob.
