The comment section on that 'life hack' video about freezing grapes was way too nice

I went to a cafe in Portland last week and overheard two girls talking about how freezing grapes makes them taste like sorbet. So I tried it. They just got hard and watery. I went back to the comments on that video and everyone was saying it was amazing. Not one person said it was bland. I don't get it. Has anyone else actually tried this and been let down?

Actually freezing them changes the texture but you have to let them thaw for like 5 minutes first so they get that slushy consistency, not rock hard straight out of the freezer. Did you try them after they sat out a bit?

that slushy consistency" reminds me... my buddy tried that with a bag of frozen grapes and forgot about them for like 20 minutes. Ended up with a puddle of mush on his counter, haha.
