The 2 a.m. Walmart comment war over canned biscuits was the funniest thing I've read all year

Stumbled on a Facebook post about store brand biscuits vs name brand. Someone said the off brand ones taste like wet cardboard. Then a guy named Larry replied with a whole recipe for making them edible, like 4 paragraphs. Then a woman named Deb called him a biscuit snob. 87 comments deep and they're arguing about butter vs margarine. Someone posted a pic of their dog next to a biscuit. I laughed for 20 minutes straight. Has anyone else found gold in the most random product review sections?

Those toaster arguments never die, do they? Mark sounds like my kind of person, taking on a full debate about dry toast like it matters. People get so fired up over the dumbest kitchen stuff and it makes for the best reading. I once watched a full blown war break out on a coffee maker review, someone claimed the carafe was too thin and three strangers started posting pictures of their broken ones. It went on for two days and ended with a guy admitting he dropped his on purpose for the warranty. Honestly, that kind of commitment is what makes the internet worth it. Good for Mark for still owning it at parties, that's a real badge of honor.

My buddy Mark got dragged into a 40 comment argument on a toaster review once. Some guy claimed his toast came out too dry and Mark wrote back this whole essay about humidity levels in kitchens. He still brings it up at parties like he won a trophy.
