Saw a comment on a local news post where someone claimed 5G towers were making their pet chickens stop laying eggs

The person was dead serious too. Said they moved the chickens to the basement and the eggs came back. Top reply was just a picture of a tin foil hat. Another guy said his cat started reciting the Necronomicon after they put up a tower nearby. Comment section was pure gold for about 4 hours before the admins locked it. Anyone else catch a wild local news comment thread lately?

My cat won't even get off the couch to look at a laser pointer most days, so if she started chanting ancient texts I'd probably just assume she leveled up somehow. Maybe my wifi router gave her dark powers, who knows. The chicken thing is almost believable compared to the Necronomicon cat - like maybe they were stressed or something, but a cat pulling out eldritch knowledge is just comedy gold. I've seen people blame 5G for their lawn dying and their TV acting up, but I'm over here wondering if my own poor cell reception is why my plants keep wilting. Maybe I'm just not radiating enough conspiracy energy to make my garden grow.

Wait wait wait. His cat started reciting the Necronomicon? That is some vintage internet gold right there. I would have paid money to see that comment before it got nuked. People really go all in on the 5G stuff, like it turns our pets into horror movie props or something. The chicken one is funny too, but the cat thing is next level. You know some poor soul probably read that and genuinely worried about their own cat.
