I always figured those 'accidental' viral comments were fake until I saw one on a local news post about a new roundabout in Boise.
The post was just a simple graphic, but someone commented 'My uncle designed this, he's never driven a car' and it had over 2,000 likes. The replies were a mix of people believing it and others adding wild stories about the 'uncle'. It made me see how a single, weird line can totally take over a normal post. Has anyone else seen a totally random comment blow up like that on a boring topic?

My buddy's tweet about a squirrel went viral.

My town's Facebook page had a post about fixing a pothole on Maple Street. Someone commented "That's where I lost my wedding ring in 2012" and it got like 800 replies with ring stories. I mean, people just latch onto the weirdest personal detail and run with it.

Yeah, that ring story is gold, people just love jumping on a personal hook like that.
