Found a comment from 5 years ago predicting my exact job change
I was scrolling through an old tech thread on Reddit and saw someone say 'this guy will be a product manager within 3 years' about me. Ngl it was creepy accurate because I just got promoted to PM last month. Has anyone else had a random prediction comment nail your life like that?

Found a 4 year old comment calling me a future project lead and it literally happened last week.

That "future project lead" comment is wild. I heard about a study that said comments online can predict life outcomes surprisingly well. Reminds me of that one, @the_adam. The timing on that is just crazy, like the universe was waiting.

The study thing is real. I think about that all the time. People leave digital breadcrumbs everywhere and sometimes it lines up perfectly. It's like that old saying about how you become the average of the people you hang out with, but online it's the average of what you type out loud too. Crazy to think a comment you barely remember can end up being a prediction like that.
