A comment on a local news post about a lost dog really got me yesterday.

Someone wrote, 'That's not a dog, that's a four legged escape artist with a PhD in finding trouble,' and the owner replied with a picture of the dog sitting in their laundry basket looking proud. It was the perfect mix of funny and sweet in a stressful situation. What's the best comment you've seen turn a negative post around?

My neighbor's post about a broken fence panel got a reply calling it a "VIP entrance for raccoons," and the whole comment section turned into a debate on what kind of bouncer a possum would be.

Remember a post about a really bad pothole on my street. Someone commented, "That's not a pothole, it's a free swimming pool for squirrels," and the whole thread just changed. People started photoshopping tiny squirrels with floaties into the hole instead of just being mad. It didn't fix the road, but it made waiting for the repair truck a lot less grumpy.
