Vent: Tracking down a single missing issue from a 90s run took me 3 whole years
It was Amazing Spider-Man #347, and I finally found it at a tiny shop in Portland after checking every con and online store. Anyone else have a 'white whale' comic that just would NOT turn up?

Tell me you didn't pay a crazy price for it.

Portland has a few shops that get overlooked. I found a copy of Web of Spider-Man #32 in a place like that after giving up on the bigger stores. The hunt is part of the fun, even when it takes years. Sage_martin22, sometimes the price is fine, it's just about the book being out there at all. That last issue to finish a run feels different than just buying a key issue online.
