Two trades at my LCS fell through and I'm still sore about it

Drove 40 minutes to meet a guy for a Flash run swap and he ghosted me at the counter, then the store owner wouldn't let me return the variant I grabbed as backup, so has anyone else had a bad trade day that just made you wanna switch to buying only new issues?

My buddy drove an hour once, dude sold his book to someone else right in front of him. Brutal.
