My comic book storage system went from a shoebox to a full spreadsheet

Back in high school, I just threw all my single issues into a big cardboard box from the grocery store. I'd spend 20 minutes digging for a specific #4 of a run. About 3 months ago, I finally snapped after trying to find my first appearance of Miles Morales. I sat down, made a Google Sheet with columns for title, issue number, and condition, and logged all 327 books. Now I can find anything in under a minute. Anyone else have a system that got way too organized?

My 5000 comics are still in long boxes, no regrets.

Man, I could never do that @the_avery. My back hurts just thinking about moving all those boxes. I'd have to sell them or finally get some shelves.
