I stopped going to the local comic shop after the Wednesday morning crowd ruined it for me

Used to hit up Cosmic Comics in Brooklyn every Wednesday at 11am sharp. But the regulars there would grab 3 or 4 copies of every hot book just to flip, and they'd argue with the owner Jack about discount codes for 20 minutes. It killed the fun of just grabbing a new issue and chatting. Am I the only one who stopped going somewhere because the other fans made it exhausting?

Switching to a Tuesday afternoon visit made a world of difference for me, ever think of trying a different day?

Have you tried going on a Tuesday like @john_cooper mentioned? It really cuts down the crowds and the vibe is way more relaxed.

Yeah Tuesday afternoons are where it's at lol. I started going on Tuesdays like a month ago after someone recommended it and honestly it's night and day compared to weekends. You can actually take your time looking at stuff without feeling rushed or having to dodge people. The staff seemed way more chill too, like they actually had time to chat instead of just trying to move everyone along. I even scored a couple of things I'd been hunting for that were usually gone by the time I got there on Saturdays. Not going back to weekend trips anytime soon haha.
