Can we talk about the guy at the Tulsa library who ran a comic club for 22 years?
I sat in on his last meeting last Saturday at the Hardesty Regional Library and he pulled out his original copy of Giant-Size X-Men #1 to pass around the tables. He told us he started the club in 2002 with 3 kids and it grew to 40 regulars, and he never once graded anyone's collection or cared what was bagged and boarded. I went in thinking I was a serious collector and walked out realizing I had never actually talked about why I love these books, just what they are worth. What is the one local club or shop that made you a fan instead of just a buyer?

That Giant-Size X-Men #1 detail got me. 22 years of just letting kids love comics, no grading, no bags. That's the whole thing right there.
