Appreciation post: that Saturday I spent 8 hours in a back issue bin at a garage sale

I found a near-mint copy of a 1975 Conan issue for 50 cents that I'd been hunting for 3 years. Has anyone else had a random day like that where the bins just delivered?

Wait, 8 hours? Were you just flipping through every box or did you have a system going?

Honestly, I heard somewhere that the guy who organized them had a color-coding system by genre, so it was mostly scanning and moving fast. Tbh, I'd probably still end up flipping through half of them anyway, just out of curiosity.
