A guy at my shop in Dayton spent 20 minutes explaining why Batman would never shop at a comic store
So last Saturday I was at the shop in Dayton for Free Comic Book Day and this guy in a full Riddler costume starts talking to me while I'm digging through the dollar bins. He goes on this whole rant about how Bruce Wayne would just have Alfred buy his comics, so Batman has probably never actually set foot in a store. Then he pulled out a notebook with 14 pages of what he called "Wayne's pull list" and asked me to sign it like I was a witness. I just wanted a copy of the free Spawn issue, man. Has anyone else run into the costume crowd on FCBD or is that just a downtown Dayton thing?

Man, and I thought I was a nerd for knowing the exact issue where Robin's parents eat it. This guy had a pull list and a witness signature plan, which is a whole new level of dedication. I once dressed as Wolverine for a midnight release and spent the whole time explaining to a kid why my claws were cardboard, so I really can't talk. Dayton sounds like it brings the goods on FCBD.
