Vent: my $200 hand grinder beats my $600 electric one and I'm annoyed about it
Spent 20 minutes dialing in a V60 with the electric flat burr and got a muddy cup, then grabbed the hand grinder on a whim and pulled a clean, sweet cup on the first try, so now I need to know if anyone else ditched their electric setup for a manual one or if I just got lucky with this batch of beans from the shop on 5th.

Twenty minutes of dialing in and still muddy? That's the part that gets me. You spent all that time tweaking the flat burr and it still let you down, then the cheap hand grinder just nails it on try one. That would drive me up a wall. Makes me wonder if the electric is even doing what it's supposed to or if something's off with the burr alignment. Either way, that's a rough way to find out the hard way.
