That $300 espresso machine I bought vs a $30 moka pot. Which one's actually better?

Last month I dropped $300 on a fancy Breville espresso machine. Thought I was saving money long term. Hated it. The shots were always bitter. Frother broke after two weeks. Ended up buying a $30 Bialetti moka pot out of desperation. Now I get better coffee in half the time. No fuss. No cleaning drama. Am I crazy for thinking the cheap option wins here? Anyone else ditch their expensive setup for something basic?

No fuss, no cleaning drama" - that's basically my life motto now. I spent $400 on a machine once and felt like a barista who failed boot camp every morning. The moka pot just gets me, you know? It's like the reliable buddy who never judges my caffeine addiction.

A toaster never burns your tongue on the first sip though.
