Showerthought: a light roast has MORE caffeine by scoop, not less, and I've been wrong for a decade
Found this out on a roaster's blog last night, that measuring by scoop means light beans are denser so you actually get more caffeine than the same scoop of dark, and now I'm second guessing every "dark roast for a jolt" argument I've ever made at my local shop in Portland, so does anyone actually weigh their beans or am I the only one still scooping?
