Okay but what if the whole fresh grind thing is just a mind trick? I used pre-ground for years and my coffee was fine, maybe we just convince ourselves it's better because of the extra work. Like @john_cooper said, it's simple stuff, but sometimes simple just means more steps for no real payoff. I bet half of these "game changers" are just people feeling fancy with a new gadget.
