My coffee gear spreadsheet hit 100 entries last night and it felt weird

I started it years ago just to track beans, but now it's got every grinder setting, water filter change, and brew time from my old apartment in Portland. Seeing that triple-digit count made me stop and wonder when keeping notes turned into a whole project. Anyone else get a bit lost in the data side of things instead of just drinking the coffee?

Jamie's got a point. Sometimes you gotta trust your gut and just go with it, even if it looks like a mess from the outside. The old notes are a safety net, but the real skill is reading the river in the moment.

Man, that's a serious log. What's the one piece of data you actually go back and check the most? Like, do you ever use the old Portland water notes, or is it just there for the record now?
