My attempt at slow coffee brewing turned into a lesson in patience.

I never knew ten minutes could feel so long until I tried a slow pour-over.

It's funny how many daily things have become these small patience drills. I see it with friends getting into sourdough bread, or even just mending a piece of clothing instead of tossing it. We're surrounded by instant stuff, so deliberately choosing a slow method, even for a simple cup of coffee, feels almost radical. There's a weird satisfaction in that stretched-out time, where the waiting is part of the whole point.

Sourdough starters take weeks, not minutes.

Cooper.Phoenix is right, I get that same feeling waiting for paint to dry.
