DAE find that a cheap kitchen scale fixed my pour over more than any fancy kettle did?
I kept getting sour, weak cups with my pour over and blamed my kettle and my grinder for about 6 weeks, until I started weighing my beans on a $12 scale from Target instead of eyeballing scoops. Turns out I was using 14 grams for a 10 oz cup when I should have been closer to 20, and the fix was almost nothing. Has anyone else had a small cheap tool fix a problem they thought needed an upgrade?
