Can we talk about reusing coffee grounds in the garden?

I add them to my compost pile every morning. It's a small step that makes a big difference for the environment.

Throw my grounds in the compost every day too, but my plants still look tired. Maybe they need the caffeine straight, not this used stuff. Truth is, my garden is more buzzed on coffee than I am. At least the worms are getting their daily fix.

Is it bad that my compost pile seems perkier than I am most days? My plants still look kinda sad even with all those grounds. I figure they're just mirroring my own tired vibe. Honestly, the worms in there are probably more productive than I've been all week. Maybe we all need a real cup instead of this leftover stuff.

I read somewhere that used coffee grounds can actually make soil too acidic for some plants.
