Wasted $1,200 on a rotary table I used exactly twice
Honestly I bought a used 8 inch rotary table off FB Marketplace for $1,200 about 7 months ago because I was sure I'd land more curved slot work. Turns out my shop in Fresno mostly runs flat brackets and plate work, and that thing has been sitting under a bench since March. I could've put that money into a second vise and a decent set of soft jaws, which I actually use daily. If you're thinking about buying one, wait until a job is already signed and the deposit cleared before you drop the cash. What's the tool you bought early that just collects dust in your shop?
