Old guy at a tool sharpening shop taught me more in 5 minutes than 2 years of YouTube

There's this old retired machinist named Frank who runs a little blade sharpening shop out of his garage on Route 22 near Newark. I brought in a beat-up end mill last Tuesday, and he spent maybe 10 minutes showing me how proper feed rates prevent chatter just by looking at the wear pattern. Has anyone else found one of those local old timers who actually knows their stuff better than any forum?

Honestly, bet he's the type to show up late and then complain about the parking. Tbh sounds like the kinda guy who thinks being loud equals being right.
