I finally tried G-code simulation before a first run instead of sending it

Ran a 45 minute sim on the new fixture program at our plant in Tulsa last week and it caught a rapid move straight into the vise jaw. Has anyone else made sim a habit, or do you still trust your eyeballs and a dry run at 5%?
