Hot take: Manual tool changes are killing our shop's efficiency
I work in a place where we still hand swap tools on our CNCs. This eats up so much time and messes up parts. We could cut job times in half with auto changers. The boss says they cost too much, but all the stoppage hurts us more. It's crazy to stick with old ways when better stuff is out there.

Stubbornness costs more than upgrades ever will, right?

Watch people waste money fixing ancient tech instead of buying something new. Saw a guy pour hundreds into a laptop slower than a snail. That stubborness turns into a tax you pay in time and stress. Upgrades feel expensive but they stop the bleeding. Holding onto broken stuff just lets the problem get bigger. Pay now or pay way more later, simple as that.

Ugh, that sunk cost fallacy is so real. Just read this thing about how people throw good money after bad because they already spent some. My buddy kept fixing his old car, and the repair bills over two years were way more than a decent used car. Same with my sister's phone... dead battery, slow, but she'd say "I just paid it off!" Feels like you're saving, but you're just renting time.
