Hit 10,000 parts without a scrap today and it messed with my head

I was so focused on grinding through my shift that I didn't even realize I passed the milestone until the end of the day. Has anyone else had a number like that sneak up on you and make you second-guess your own count?

Yeah, "way too many to track without a mistake" really hits home. I've been there where you think you've got it all straight and then boom, you're missing a tiny screw or something. What helped me was breaking it into smaller groups, like 10 batches of 1,000 parts each, and checking off each batch before moving on. Also, a simple spreadsheet on my phone with columns for counts and status kept me from going crazy. It's a pain upfront but saves you from redoing the whole thing later.
