Dropped $1,100 on a Renishaw probe for my Haas and it paid for itself in 4 months
Was doing all my setups with an edge finder and dial indicator, and scrapped about $2k worth of parts last year from a bad zero. Bought the probe, cut setup time from 45 minutes to 6, and I've had zero scrapped parts since January. What's the one tool purchase you guys regret not making sooner?

$2k in scrap is one way to convince the boss, bet the probe was an easier sell than a pay raise though.
