That time a meme page got me blocked by a B-list celeb

I was scrolling Instagram last summer and came across this account that made jokes about a reality star who got cancelled for fake activism. They posted a screenshot of her apology video where she was clearly reading off a script, and I commented something goofy like 'she practiced that face in a mirror for 45 minutes.' The next morning I was blocked by the celeb herself on my personal account. I don't know how she found me, but it stuck with me how fast these people clean up any criticism. Has anyone else gotten blocked or noticed a celeb scrubbing comments after a scandal breaks?

Set your account to private for a couple weeks after cracking jokes next time.

and honestly this is p much what i did after i made a dumb post about local traffic that got me roasted lol my DMs were wild for like 3 days. i just flipped my account to private for a full week and ignored the notifs till everything calmed down. by the time i went public again nobody even remembered what i said and the algorithm had moved on to something else. honestly it works way better than trying to argue or explain yourself cause people just wanna fight in the moment.
