Surprised by how many subscribers a canceled YouTuber kept
I looked up that influencer who got exposed for faking charity work back in 2022. Turns out they only lost about 15 percent of their followers, even after the news blew up. Has anyone else checked the stats on someone who got canceled and noticed the same thing?

Doesn't that just prove most people don't actually care about ethics, they just want entertainment? I'd bet a lot of those subscribers just forgot to unfollow.

Probably half of them just never bothered to check who they were following.

Man, that reminds me of this buddy of mine who I swear followed some random account for like three years thinking it was a local pizza joint. Turns out it was some dude in another state posting nothing but pictures of his cat and complaining about HOA rules. Funny thing is, he kept liking all the cat posts too, never once questioned why his "pizza place" never actually posted about food. Those kind of people probably just scroll through their feed and tap follow without a second thought, especially if they're drunk or half asleep when they do it.
