Shoutout to that influencer who vanished after the 'vegan leather' exposé

Last month a big fashion influencer named Claire got called out for selling $80 'vegan leather' bags that turned out to be plastic coated polyester. Three days after the video dropped, she wiped her whole Instagram and TikTok accounts with no goodbye or apology. Makes you wonder, did she think nobody would notice or was she just hoping we'd all forget?

Dug into this myself after getting burned on a "sustainable" hoodie that was basically just a cheap polyester scam. Did a full chargeback through my credit card and left a review on those scam reporting sites with screenshots of the original ads. Made sure to share the whole thing in a few Facebook groups too, figured if she's gonna disappear then at least people should know what theyre getting into.
