Ran into a YouTuber at the grocery store and it was awkward
So last Saturday I was at the Kroger on 3rd Street grabbing some milk when I spotted this influencer I used to follow. She had a huge falling out with her cohost last year and got cancelled for faking a charity drive. She was buying a single avocado and a bag of chips, and I accidentally made eye contact. She gave me this fake smile and then practically ran to the self checkout. Has anyone else bumped into a cancelled celeb doing completely normal stuff? It's so weird to see them in real life after all the drama online.

That fake smile thing is the worst. I once saw that guy from the failed tech startup at Target buying a huge bag of dog food and he made the same weird eye contact and then hid behind a display of paper towels. Did you feel almost bad for her, or was it just pure awkward?
